FAQ

Carolina Ballet is grateful to the following government partners who provide us with both fiscal and community support.

City of Raleigh Arts Commission
The City of Raleigh Arts Commission (CORAC) was established in 1977 to serve as the official municipal advisory body and advocate for the arts. The Commission is both proactive and responsive to the needs and interest of the community. The City of Raleigh Arts Commission supports the arts and artists, and works to create a climate in which the arts can thrive.

North Carolina Arts Council
The arts help make North Carolina a great place to live, work, or visit. Whether it's contemporary art, crafts, dance, the folk arts, historical drama, literature, music, or theater, we have something for everyone. The North Carolina Arts Council celebrates those who create and enjoy art in all 100 counties of the state.

National Endowment for the Arts
The National Endowment for the Arts was created by Congress and established in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government. Since then, we have awarded more than 120,000 grants to arts organizations and artists in all 50 states and the six U.S. jurisdictions. This public investment in the nation's cultural life has resulted in both new and classic works of art reaching every corner of America.

United Arts
We have a vision for the future: A community that values the arts. United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County, Wake County's official arts agency, conducts many community enhancing programs, including Grants to arts groups and artists, Artists-in-the-Schools, Creative Explorations, professional development for teachers, and Community Arts Reach.
